First, this seminar examined how Florida sole proprietorships, corporations, general partnerships, and limited liability companies (“LLCs”) differ in regards to federal tax, business management, and protection from, or exposure to, liability. Second, it examined government requirements regarding registered agents and offices; naming a business structure; licenses; federal, local, and state taxes; and other areas of compliance. Third, It provided the members of the audience with tips, suggestions, and resources to explore as they develop their businesses.
